Stevie Fitzgerald is a native Austinite, who grew up in an artistic family. Stevie’s father was a professional musician, who would often take her on tour with him while he traveled around the country. Prior to attending William & Mary Law School, she received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from St. Edward’s University.

She started her legal career as a Staff Attorney & Estate Manager at the Authors Guild in New York City. There, she advised creators in all aspects of intellectual property law, including aiding members in contract negotiations, interceding in royalty and rights disputes, and supervising issues involving the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
